CONSULT: We met with the client, Dave Mungai, to discuss his needs. He needed a clean new identity that reflected his forward thinking company. He also needed something that could be animated easily, and requested that red be a predominate color..
RESEARCH: A thorough research of production, video, and studio companies in the area and across the united states yielded logos of all tastes and styles.
EVOLVE: It was decided that a typographical logo with a simple graphic element would be best... Something that again could be animated. But clearly represented an audio visual company. The thought of a simple VCR's buttons came to mind.
ASSEMBLE: The team decided on the best three of the ideas generated. The three options were sent to Mr Mungai, showing the logo as black and white versions as well.
TAILOR: Mr Mungai promptly gravitated toward a specific "choice"; utilizing a record button with a line showing pre-production through post-production. He immediately saw how it could be animated. We did a version to be used in very small scale on CDs and DVDs as well.
EXECUTE: The logo was finalized and provided in the formats requested by Dave. It is being utilized on everything from the actual video productions to business cards to his polo shirts.
